Every child carries a seed. Our job is to create the conditions for it to bloom.
Our teaching approach
Our name is a nod: bloom means to flourish. It is also the name of a researcher, Benjamin Bloom, whose work showed that a student supported individually, with frequent feedback, can make remarkable progress. We made it our compass.
Challenges at the right level
Each student works in their “zone of progress”: where they can’t yet succeed alone, but can with well-measured support that is gradually withdrawn.
A growth mindset
Intelligence is not fixed. Children who understand this dare more, persevere longer and see mistakes as a step.
Relationship first
Children learn better with an adult they trust. We take special care in choosing the tutor and in the quality of the bond.
