Being trusted with a child requires complete confidence. No profile is activated until each of these steps has been validated.
Online application
Background, subjects, levels, motivation.
Degree verification
Checking academic and professional credentials.
Criminal record extract
Mandatory document (bulletin n°3 or Ivorian equivalent), with a periodic renewal date. Without it, no activation.
Interview and teaching trial
We assess subject mastery, but above all the teaching stance with a student.
Training and signing the charter
Initial training, including a dedicated child protection module.
Teaching & ethics charter
Every Bloom Africa tutor commits in writing to these principles. Any breach leads to immediate suspension of the profile.
- Kindness and high expectations. I believe every student can progress.
- No off-platform contact. I neither share nor ask for any personal number or social media account.
- Traceability. Every session, even one-to-one, is scheduled and delivered within the platform.
- Respect for integrity. No humiliating words, no inappropriate physical contact, no punishment.
- Confidentiality. Information about the child and their family never leaves the platform.
- Duty to report. I report any worrying situation to the protection team.
